An independent inspection of Manx Care's services is due to take place in the next year.
That's according to Health Minister Claire Christian, who faced questions from Rushen MHK Michelle Haywood in the House of Keys this week.
Ms Christian says the health service is looked at every five years.
The minister said her department was already looking at who'll carry it the inspection, and why it's so important:
