A man who tried to send more than £2,500 to the UK has admitted the cash was the proceeds of crime.
Liam John Wilson of Hillside Avenue in Douglas appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
The 29 year old admitted possessing cannabis and attempting to remove criminal property.
The court heard Wilson had tried to send the package to Stoke on Trent from the cargo centre at Ronaldsway Airport, but staff alerted police because he was nervous.
Magistrates bailed Wilson in the sum of £500 and asked for pre-sentencing reports to be prepared.
They also committed him to the Court of General Gaol Delivery, where he’ll be sentenced on November 6.
