A man accused of smashing every window of his girlfriend’s camper van when she dumped him has been bailed.
Shaun David Bignall of Mooragh Promenade in Ramsey appeared before Deputy High Bailiff James Brooks at Douglas Courthouse.
The 33 year old hasn’t yet entered pleas to two charges of criminal damage and one of burglary at an address on Queen’s Pier Road in Ramsey.
The court heard he’s said to have flown into a rage when his partner ended their relationship, breaking one window in her van on September 30.
But in the early hours of October 2, he returned, smashing his way into her home and throwing items around while the woman’s young daughter begged him to stop.
He was bailed in the sum of £500 on condition he doesn’t enter Queen’s Pier Road or contact his alleged victim, and he’ll also have to observe a 10pm to 7am curfew until his next court appearance on November 17.
