An Island animal charity is asking people not to feed treats directly to its residents.
The Home of Rest for Old Horses on Richmond Hill in Braddan took to Facebook to issue the plea to visitors.
It says some of its four-legged residents have trouble eating crunchy snacks.
But it says if visitors give staff their carrots, apples and other food they can be grated and made horse-safe!
