Douglas Council says talks are still going on to sell the Lord Street flats - but it won't say to who or for how much.
A Freedom of Information request to the local authority asked for more details about the landmark apartments in the city centre.
In its response, the council says it chose a buyer last January after a tender process, but the negotiations fell through in December.
And although it adds it's still trying to sell the site, it says it can't give information about the potential buyer or the price because of commercial confidentiality.
