Two candidates have come forward to contest a by-election in Peel next month.
The local authority has a vacancy on its board since Katryna Baptist was elected as a Glenfaba and Peel MHK during September's general election.
Nominations closed at lunchtime on Wednesday - with Rachel O'Connor and William Otieno-Costain the only two candidates.
The Sunset City will go to the polls on Thursday, December 3.
