Longer Manannan sailings again today

Manannan sailings to and from Liverpool will once again take slightly longer today.

Today's 3pm voyage to Merseyside and its return to the Island at 7.15pm are expected to take around 3 hours 45 minutes each with the vessel still running on reduced power.

Yesterday the Steam Packet Company announced repair works on the fastcraft would be taking place overnight but added it will still run on three engines during Tuesday.

The boats fourth engine failed over the weekend - as a result journeys yesterday between Douglas and Liverpool took approximate four hours each way.
