A hairdressing salon in Douglas says it's been forced to introduce late cancellation fees because of a rise in the number of people not showing up for appointments.
Salon 3 on Prospect Terrace in Douglas says it's seen a recent increase in people cancelling late or not attending.
From July 1, it says if appointments are cancelled less than 48 hours beforehand it'll start charging - and people who don't show up at all will be charged the full amount.
On Facebook, the business says if people get in touch it'll consider waiving the charges if circumstances show it's appropriate and fair.
