The Isle of Man’s new Lieutenant Governor, Adam Wood has been speaking to 3FM today, less than a week into his new role.
Mr Wood took up the position after recently retiring from British Diplomatic Service, following a long and varied career in diplomacy and international development.
He was officially sworn in last Thursday at a ceremony in Castle Rushen which has said will forever live on in his memory.
He said he and his family are quickly settling into Island life and has already confirmed his participation in this years Parish Walk.
The Governor told 3FM that he is relishing the prospect of a very busy schedule over the coming months, he said he is particulary looking forward to the TT races, and the general election in September.
