A local political group has issued a statement following Dr Rosalind Ranson's tribunal result.
Chair of Liberal Vannin, Paul Weatherall, says the party believes 'no one should have to experience the unprofessional and inappropriate behaviours' outlined in the judgement.
He adds that they're 'appalled' by the way this element of the tribunal was handled by government.
Dr Ranson was ultimately awarded £3.2m for her unfair dismissal from the Department of Health and Social Care.
Liberal Vannin is now calling on government to ensure the events leading up to the tribunal liability decision are 'properly and independently investigated.'
