Patrick commissioners say an ice cream van can't trade for longer in the area.
When the local authority met last month, it considered an application from the Manx Whippy Ice Cream Van.
It wanted to trade past a 7pm deadline imposed by the board.
However, members refused permission, saying it might disturb a residential area.
