Island Competing in Shooting and Cycling on Last Day
The Isle of Man has only one more day of competition left to bolster the teams medal tally before tomorrow’s closing ceremony.
The final two events left for the Island will be the cycling 40km individual time trial and the rifle prone and skeet singles shooting events.
Cyclist Mark Christian and shooter Tim Kneale have been the only members of team Isle of Man to claim a medal, both claiming bronze.
As it stands the Island is among the nations with the lowest medal count with Australia at the top of the pile after bagging 221, however the Island is also among smallest competing nations.
At tomorrow’s closing ceremony hotshot 14 year old member of the Archery squad Aalin George will carry the Manx flag.
