Key healthcare appointments announced

Two high level appointments have been made at the Department of Health and Social Care.

Kathryn Magson is set to take over as Interim Chief Executive from Angela Murray from January 1 next year, bringing 12 years experience of NHS senior management.

Meanwhile, John Spicer will take up the post as Health and Care Transformation Director as officials look to achieve a 'lasting reform' of the healthcare system on Island.

Chief Secretary, Will Greenhow, says both will bring 'invaluable experience' and necessary skills needed to 'take on the considerable challenges ahead'.
