Kayakers and paddleboarders are being reminded they need clearance to enter or leave Douglas's outer harbour.
The government has recently responded to several situations where permission has not been given and clear signage has been ignored in some cases.
Large vessels regularly manoeuvre within Douglas Harbour, and so clearance is essential to ensure everyone's safety.
