Bellis Continues Remarkable Comeback
Less than a year on from the crash that nearly claimed his life Manx cyclist Jonny Bellis is continuing his remarkable return to form after being name in Saxo Banks Tour of Britain Line-up.
Following his moped crash in Italy last September he sustained serious muscle loss, with his weight plumeting to just 46kgs as a result of contracting Peritinitis whilst in hospital.
His speedy recovery is all the more remarkable considering he was unable to walk unaided in just February.
He has been gradually returning to competition standard with a handful of races designed to improve both his fitness and confidence back in the saddle.
The Tour of Britain will get underway on September 11th starting in Rochdale.
