A farm shop in the west of the Island is reducing its opening hours for the autumn and winter months, citing customer demand, food wastage and staffing costs.
Matt Harrison owner of the Isle of Man Farm Shop Company says it's been open every day for the past six months, but it was always the plan to close on the quietest day to give staff a day off.
The store in Glen Helen will now be closed on Wednesdays and will open from 10am to 5.30pm on the other days.
Matt says it will return to seven-day opening in the spring and summer, but at the moment it doesn't make financial sense to be open seven days a week.
