Chief Minister Howard Quayle says the Island will introduce its own legislation to govern Brexit.
He was giving evidence to Tynwald's Constitutional and Legal Affairs and Justice Committee about the issue yesterday.
Mr Quayle said the Island's relationship with the European Union, under Protocol 3, will end when the UK leaves.
And he says the government has been busy preparing its own Brexit bill to change Manx law when Britain quits the union.
