The Island will fall silent at 11am along with the UK to mark the 75th anniversary of VE Day.
A two-minute silence will remember the sacrifices made by those on the battlefield and at home that led to victory over Nazi forces in Europe in 1945.
Chief Minister, Howard Quayle MHK, will make a commemorative statement and bugler and piper will play 'The Last Post', 'Battle's O'er' and 'VE Day 75' from the Summit of Snaefell.
The All-Island sirens will also sound the all-clear for the final time at 3pm to mark the occasion.
The event will be captured on video and the public are asked not to attend Snaefell to avoid any large gatherings.
