The Island's avoided having a new UK law imposed on it.
Yesterday, the House of Commons voted to force overseas territories to introduce public registers showing exactly who owns companies registered in places like the Cayman Islands.
The Isle of Man has a register, but it can only be seen by authorities rather than the public.
The new rules will come in in places like the Cayman Islands and British Virgin Island - but won't apply to the Isle of Man because we have a different constitutional status.
