Police in Merseyside have confirmed a man from the Isle of Man has died after falling ill at a Liverpool nightclub.
The 47-year-old, who hasn’t been officially named, had attended a closing party at Cream on Boxing Day.
Reports suggest he was taken to hospital in the early hours of Sunday morning but died last night - his next of kin have been informed and it's believed a post-mortem is due to take place.
Police are also investigating the death of a 19-year-old man from Crosby in Liverpool who died after attending the same event.
