The UK's House of Lords has heard calls for the Island's assisted dying bill to be given Royal Assent soon.
Yesterday, Labour life peer Lord Bassam of Brighton raised the issue in a question to Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Ministry of Justice Baroness Levitt.
He wanted to know when the bill would be approved for Royal Assent - it's been waiting almost a year after being approved by Tynwald.
In reply, Baroness Levitt said the Isle of Man had been in touch with the UK in January and officials are still preparing advice for the Lord Chancellor.
