The Department of Infrastructure says it received almost 200 reports of road defects via its mobile app last year.
A Freedom of Information request asked how many complaints had been sent via the Notify app about road markings.
In its response, the DOI says there's no specific way of reporting road markings as problems and users often reported them as other types of faults.
But it added between January 2024 and December last year, 198 problems were raised.
