The inquest into the death of a holidaymaker who was killed when a car hit her on the Tholt-y-Will road will open today.
62-year-old Gwen Valentine who was from Hampshire died at the scene on April 26th – the driver didn’t stop.
Donovan Kitching – a 30-year-old man from St Johns – has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving. He is currently remanded in Jurby Prison.
Coroner of Inquests John Needham will open proceedings at Douglas Courthouse at 3.15pm.
