Department of Education figures show a five-fold jump in the number of suspensions considered by school governors in Ramsey.
A freedom of information request to the department asked about suspensions in the Island's high schools.
Ballakermeen High School had the most over the past two years - with 19 suspended students.
But the figures show Ramsey Grammar School had two suspensions serious enough to involve governors in 2021, with that figure rising to last year.
