Changes to public sector housing policy will come into effect today.
The changes mean more working families will be eligible for public sector housing, after Tynwald raised income thresholds.
A couple with three children can now earn up to £63,900 a year - an increase of £13,400 on the previous limit.
The new threshold for couples with two children is £59,800, while couples with one child can now earn up to £56,700.
