Manx National Heritage has applied for planning permission to replace windows on a newly-opened facility in the south of the Island.
The organisation says first-floor windows at its shop and visitor centre on Market Square in Castletown are in poor condition.
In its application it says it had hoped to repair them but they're too dilapidated and so need replacing.
MNH has also applied for registered building consent for the work.
