A Ramsey MHK is to quiz the Island's infrastructure minister about how bad weather has to be to close the Mountain Road.
During next week's House of Keys sitting, Alex Allinson will ask Infrastructure Minister Tim Crookall what criteria is used when there's snow and ice.
A recent Freedom of Information request revealed the route had been fully or partly shut every six days on average last year - due to weather, racing or other incidents.
MHKs are due to sit from 10am on Tuesday, February 24 in Legislative Buildings in Douglas.
