The Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister will be asked today what his department has done to reassure the public following the horse meat scandal.

It’s after a number of beef products in the UK and Europe were found to contain horse DNA.
The scandal has highlighted the importance of food traceability and buying local as a situation like this couldn’t affect Manx meat due to stringent rules and processes in place.
