Henderson secures first seat in Legislative Council elections

There's been some surprises so far this morning in the Legislative Council elections.

So far only one candidate has been successful, with Bill Henderson receiving 17 votes, ensuring one of the four seats.

Since this there have been a number of ballots where none of the hopefuls have managed to receive the requisite number of 13 votes.

In a shock twist Juan Watterson MHK put forward the Education Minister, Tim Crookall.
