A healthcare company will appear in court later this year, charged with health and safety breaches.
Elder Healthcare Limited of Elder Grange in Fuchsia Lane in Douglas was excused appearing before Deputy High Bailiff Christopher Arrowsmith at Douglas Courthouse.
The company hasn’t yet entered pleas to one count each of failing to discharge health and safety duties, and two charges of failing to comply with regulations in November 2019.
The charges are related to the death of 96 year old Olive Muriel Renecle, who died in a fire at her home on Fuchsia Lane.
Mr Arrowsmith adjourned the case, and the company is next due to appear in court on May 13.
