A teenager has appeared in court after being caught with thousands of pounds worth of cannabis.
17-year-old Jamie Gelling, of Foxdale Road in Eairy, admitted three offences of possession with intent to supply during an appearance at Douglas Courthouse on Tuesday.
Police found Gelling with 99 grams of cannabis bush and 42 grams of cannabis resin at a property in Douglas on March 6th - the drugs had a street value of £2,200.
Just two weeks before, on February 15th, he’d been caught with 146 grams of cannabis valued at £2,900.
Gelling also admitted unlawful possession of the Class A drug cocaine, and possessing £450 of criminal property, from the same date.
He’ll be sentenced at the Court of General Gaol Delivery - committal proceedings to that court will take place on July 6th; he’s been bailed until that date.
