The Island’s Lieutenant Governor has commended a local charity for its efforts to raise enough money to build a new breast cancer facility.
The Manx Breast Cancer Support Group has already raised £300,000 – but has some way to go before it reaches its target of £1.5 million.
Breast cancer is the most common form of cancer for women on the Island with around 100 people diagnosed each year.
