The government says it's working closely with fuel suppliers over the impact of the war in the Middle East.
This week Chief Minister Alf Cannan chaired a special meeting of the Economic and National Strategy Board, to discuss the effect of the conflict between America and Iran on the Island.
Government's asking residents to be patient as fuel orders are processed, because demand has increased.
It adds there's likely to be a rise in fuel costs over the coming weeks, but assures the public the Island's supply chains are resilient.
