Manx Government wasn't paid anything for the documentary focusing on life inside Jurby prison.
It comes following Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse asking the question in Tynwald earlier this week.
He put his query to the Chief Minister asking how much the government was paid for the six-part series.
In response, Mr Quayle confirmed neither the government, or any person who featured in the documentary will receive financial compensation.
