The amount of money made by government for nursing care placements has risen by 30 per cent in the last five years.
Health and Social Care Minister Claire Christian gave the figures in response to a question for written answer from Onchan MHK Julie Edge.
In 2022, placements in nursing homes made £151,000 through providers' rental fees and contributions from users.
In 2024, that figure hit £309,000 before dropping to £197,000 this year.
