Good from the flood - disability access improved at NSC

Improvements have been carried out at the National Sports Centre in a bid to make it more accessible for the Island's disabled community.

Changes have been made in numerous areas including changing and shower facilities and in terms of access to areas including the bowls hall and bowling green. 

The NSC in Douglas was badly damaged by flooding in December 2015 - MLC Geoff Corkish, the chairman for the Tynwald Advisory Council for Disabilities, says that presented an opportunity:
