A man from Glen Maye will stand trial after being accused of trying to cause grievous bodily harm to a police officer.
40-year-old Edward Michael Lewin, of The Lharghan, appeared at Douglas Courthouse on Thursday.
He denied attempting to unlawfully and maliciously cause GBH with intent to the PC - the offence allegedly took place at his home address on November 19th.
A pre-trial review will take place on February 7th - he’s been bailed until that date.
