A critical phase has now been reached in the ongoing work that will eventually see the whole of the Isle of Man converted to Natural Gas.
Manx Gas are now making the final connection to the Southern area of the Island.
In order to carry out the Alexandra Road railway line crossing the teams will have to close the road between S&S Motors and the traffic lights at Castletown Corner.
The works will commence on Monday, with an estimated finish date of 23rd of this month.
Manx Gas will, however, keep the public informed of any amendments to this possible completion date.
