It follows the death of Albert Gubay - the 87-year-old, who founded the Mount Murray complex, died at his home in Cheshire on Tuesday.
The millionaire businessman set up the property development and real estate management group which is based on the Isle of Man.
A statement from Derwent says more information about his life, legacy and the future of the group will be divulged in "due course".
