The Department of Infrastructure have advised that the Main Road Foxdale will re-open to through traffic ahead of schedule this afternoon.
The early completion is down to a combination of good weather and very hard work by both the DOI's workforce and their sub-contractor.
The work saw the construction of new drainage culverts.
Work will still continue on the kerbing and drainage operation, however this will be regulated through traffic lights.
A further closure period will be required in a few weeks’ time to enable the final surfacing operations to be carried out, details of which will be announced shortly.
