Garff Commissioners says Police have been informed of fly tipping on Old Laxey Hill.
According to the authority, tree and hedge debris has been dumped over the wall sometime on Sunday (December 29).
Officials say some of the rubbish has fallen further down the bank which will be difficult to remove safely - adding any materials like that should be disposed of at civic amenity sites in either Douglas or Ramsey.
Anyone who may have details about the incident are being asked to get in touch with the commissioners office on 861 241 or Ramsey Police Station on 812 234.
