A drink-driver was caught by police after she drove to a filling station in the early hours with no headlights on.
Clodagh Hansen of Douglas Avenue in Douglas appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse for sentencing.
At an earlier hearing, she admitted being almost three times over the limit in her Renault Captcha on Peel Road in Douglas just after 3.30am on August 10.
Officers stopped her because she didn’t have headlights on, and she failed a roadside breath test after police noticed she smelled of alcohol.
After hearing Hansen was a binge drinker with a well-paid job, magistrates put her on probation for 12 months and banned her from the roads for five years.
She was also ordered to pay £125 costs within 14 days or spend a week in prison.
