Firefighters tackled an incident in the West last night which is believed to have been a deliberate act.
Teams were called to a fire at the 'Tardis' - a blue former phone box turned into a communal library - on Albany Road in Peel.
Authorities say it's believed the flames were started intentionally by youths and Police are now investigating to find out what happened.
The fire service says due to the quick response of personnel only a small number of books were damaged.
