The Island's Fire and Rescue Service is urging people to be careful with disposable barbecues as good weather arrives on the Island.
It says if used irresponsibly, they can easily cause blazes.
The service says wildfires are a drain on resources, as well as being highly damaging to the countryside and local wildlife.
Firefighters say they should only be used on non-combustible surfaces, and you should make sure they're fully extinguished and disposed of properly after use.
