Firefighters spent an hour tackling a fire at an industrial unit in Douglas yesterday.
The blaze broke out in Hills Meadow Industrial Estate shortly before 1pm in a metal fabrication unit which is being refurbished.
The Fire and Rescue Service says those carrying out the work hadn't taken proper precautions to guard against a fire breaking out.
Fire crews wearing breathing apparatus put out the flames and used a thermal imaging camera to check for hot spots.
