Two appliances from Ramsey and Douglas attended a property on Taubman Street just after 8.20pm.
On arrival firefighters were confronted with an evolving fire in a garage.
It was confined to a vehicle and crews spent 40 minutes extinguishing it and checking it hadn't spread further.
