A Douglas woman has been fined £300 after 'seeing red' and having an argument in the street.
27-year-old Keely Thompson, of Hutchinson Square, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour during an appearance at Douglas Courthouse.
The court heard Thompson become involved in an altercation with a man outside Kinrade's Pharmacy on October 25th - she was pushing and shoving him and both were shouting.
In interview Thompson told police the man had spat at her and he was intimidating her over a debt owed to him by someone else.
Her advocate told the court there was an 'unpleasant history' between the pair adding: "Her emotions have got the better of her and she's seen red."
Sentencing Thompson Deputy High Bailiff Jayne Hughes ordered her to pay an additional £200 fine after breaking the conditions of an existing Bind Over Order.
Thompson must also pay £125 in prosecution costs.
