Figures Slowly Returning to Normal at Isle of Man Airport

Deficit on Last Years Figures Slowly Narrowing

Figures for July have shown that the Isle of Man Airport is continuing to make slow progress in regenerating the passenger numbers lost in the first half of the year.

The ash cloud was to blame for decimating the first half figures, things are now slowly but surely getting back on track.

Throughout April and May the deficit on the previous year was into double figures, it had reduced considerably in July down to just 2%.

The usual high level of forward bookings has also taken a hit, with the airport relying on them to fill the routes as they move towards their winter schedule.
