Manx Care is warning some Noble's Hospital users to take care after a beaked bully began picking on staff and patients.
On Facebook, the organisation says a seagull with a nest of young chicks has been behaving aggressively outside the Day Assessment Treatment Unit and Diabetes Centre.
Manx Care says there's not much it can do because of the bird's protected status - and the MSPCA's advice is to carry an umbrella for protection.
It's asking people in the area to be aware and take care.
