A drunk man smashed a bedroom door to bits at his home with his partner and baby inside.
31-year-old Jonathan Elliott, of Anagh Coar Road in Douglas, admitted criminal damage when he appeared before Deputy High Bailiff Rachael Braidwood at Douglas Courthouse.
A neighbour called the police on May 20 and officers found Elliott drunk and agitated - he was arrested after he became verbally abusive.
Elliott was fined £600 and ordered to pay £125 costs and £500 compensation to Douglas Council.
